Award from the home city, Sopron

The 19 year old player became the "record holder", because so far the winners got this award after a long career.

"I am very pleased to be awarded this prize at this young age! It also fills me with happiness that the other winners know lot about my past achievements. Great joy to be here in the Day of Fidelity’s ceremony! Sopron is my home, my career started here. There are many wonderful memories, I’m always happy to come back "- said Timi.

In keeping with the traditions of the city, awards were presented on the Day of Fidelity to individuals and communities which had made contributions to the preservation of the traditions and culture of Sopron or to the administration of the city, or had made outstanding achievements in social service, medicine, teaching or sports, or helped contribute to the development of the scientific and cultural life of the city.

The attendees was greeted by MP Mátyás Firtl and also spoke Imre Légrádi, this year's honorary citizen of Sopron.

In 1921 the citizens left their descendants the idea of fidelity as an enduring value. At the vote the residents decided that they wish to be part of Hungary, and thus deserved "the most loyal city" title.
