Roland Garros 2014: difficult match and success in the 2nd round of the quali

The 21- year old Hungarian player 's opponent in the third round will be Maryna Zanevska from Ukraine.

 
"It was a great match! The opponent has enormous shots. It was a very difficult match, and absolutely decided in the heads! I'm glad that I won and I can play tomorrow for the Main Draw" - Timi said.

The 64-minute first set brought amazing fight. At the beginning Timi saved one, De Vroome saved two break points. After 3:2 the Hungarian player had another chance, but without success.

Timi and her rival played very well at their own service games, so they reached the tie-break. De Vroome led several times with receiver’s point, at 6-5 she had a set point. But the third seed saved it, and after 7-6 she lived with her first set point.

In the second set De Vroome led 1:0 and 2:1, but in the fifth game she couldn’t hold her serve. Timi broke to 30 and it proved to be decisive! The Hungarian youngster hold her service games and at 5:3 she broke again the Dutch teen.

The 21-year old Hungarian player 's opponent for the Main Draw will be Maryna Zanevska. The Ukrainian player won against Saisai Zheng in the second round in three sets (5:7, 6:2, 6:3).

The World No 139 Zanevska’s career best was 107 (09.16.2013). During her career, she has won 10 ITF tournaments in singles, she was finalist in additional seven times. Last year she celebrated in Moscow and Bron (France).
