Schmiedlova was born on 09.13.1994 in Kosice. Her career best was 73rd place in 11.04.2013. During her career she has won seven ITF tournaments: In 2011 in Yerevan , in 2012 in Antalya twice, at Bad Saarow at Brescia and Netanya, and in 2013 in Civitavecchia. Furthermore, she was three times a finalist in singles .
 
The 19-year-old Slovakian player reached the doubles final in four ITF events.
 
Schmiedlova in 2012 was a finalist in the juniors at Roland Garros, but she lost 3:6, 7:5, 6:3 against the German Annika Beck.
 
The Slovakian teenager in the 2013 season celebrated few beautiful results. In addition to the success in Civitavecchia (25 000 USD), she was a semifinalist in Tallinn (25 000 USD). In Katowice (235 000 USD) she reached the main draw from the qualies, and won 6:3, 6:0 against the World No 33 Alize Cornet. After that Schmiedlova was a semifinalist in Torun (25 000 USD), and then played a final in Biarritz (U.S. $ 100,000 ).

The Slovak player was directly the member of the main draw at the US Open, she won against Stefanie Voegele (6:1, 5:7, 7:6), then lost to Kaia Kanepi (6:1, 6:4). She played in the quarterfinal in Ningo (125 000 USD) and Nanjing (125 000 USD). Schmiedlova started the 2014 season in Shenzhen, she lost against MonicaNiculescu (4:6, 6:2, 6:3).
