Wimbledon 2013: defeat in doubles

The match lasted 1 hour and 8 minutes.

On Tuesday Timi lost against the French Mathilde Johansson, while Mandy Minella was defeated by the the world's No 1 Serena Williams in singles. They wanted good result in doubles, but there was not much chance.

In the 30 minute first set Olaru and Savchuk reliably hold their sevice game and twice took the opponent’s serve, at 1:1 and 4:2, each time to 30. However, Timi and Mandy Minella couldn’t reached for a single break point.

At the beginning of the second set the Hungarian and Luxembourgish player lost serve again, but immediately broke back. Then Timi and Mandy Minnela had a 40-15 lead, but they couldn’t hold the service game and this proved to be decisive. The Romanian and Ukrainian player defended this lead, so they advanced into the second round.

Timi and Mandy Minella also lost int he first round at Roland Garros, they were defeated by a Chinese pair.
