Wimbledon 2013: French opponent in singles

In doubles Timi and Mandy Minella will meet the Romanian Raluca Olaru and Ukrainian Olga Savchuk.

The 20-year-old Hungarian player last year won against Melanie Oudin int the first round and next lost after a hard battle against Nadia Petrova.

"Till Wednesday night we were in Eastbourne, then we came to London. I prepared hard for Wimbledon, the last few days I trained for four or five hours a day, therefore the program will be a little bit relaxed for the last two days of the week. Fortunately, in the past few days we had good weather so I could pratice as much as I can on the court. I trained with Morita, Hlavackova and Jovanovski, and I will play against Schiavone and Minella. Yesterday on our side played Roger Federer and Tommy Haas, and Jelena Jankovic with her coach. It was incredible feeling "- Timi said.

The 28-year-old Johansson reached the second round at Wimbledon in 2009, 2011 and 2012. Lat year she won against Lesia Tsurenko (3:6, 6:0, 6:3) and lost against Christina McHale (5:7, 5:7).

Mathilde Johansson was World No 59 on 06.04.2009., this is her career best so far. She played twice in singles final on the WTA Tour, but without success: she lost in 2011 in Bogota and Bastad in 2012 against Lourdes Dominguez Lino (6:2, 3:6, 2:6) and Polona Hercog (6:0, 4:6 , 5:7).

The routine French player this year lost usually in the first or second round. She  achieved the best results in Rome, defeating Olga Govortsova (3:6, 6:3, 6:1) and Lauren Davis (6:3, 6:2), and lost against Garbine Muguruza (6:1, 0:6, 2:6).

Timi again play doubles with Mandy Minella. The Hungarian-Luxembourgish duo lost in the first round at Roland Garros against a Chinese pair. In Wimbledon Timi and her partner will meet Raluca Olaru and Olga Savchuk in the opening round.

The 24-year-old Romanian player is 96th in doubles ranking. She was 78th on 02.01.2010, this is her career best so far. She played five finals at WTA Tour in doubles: she won in 2008 in Tashkent (Co: Olga Szavcsuk) and in 2011 in Acapulco (Co: Maria Korittseva) and in 2013 in Nuremberg (co: Valeria Solovyeva). This season she was a finalist in Katowice (Co: Solovyeva) and Eilat (Co: Alla Kudryavtseva), she reached the top four in the second tournament in Eilat (Co: Andrea Mitu) and Grado (Co: Katarzyna Piter).

The 25-year-old Ukrainian player currently 116th in doubles ranking. She was 57th on 14.02.2011, this is her career best so far. She won one WTA Tour final, in 2008 in Tashkent with Olaru...This season she was a finalist in Andrezieux-Boutheon (Co: Margarita Gasparyan) at Irapuato (Co: Alla Kudryavtseva) and Poza Rica (Co: Stephanie Dubois), she reached the semifinal in Marrakech (Co: Chanelle Scheepers).
