Shvedova is the new doubles partner till Wimbledon

The Hungarian and Kazakh player in 2013 won the WTA tournament in Tashkent, this week they reached the semifinal at Indian Wells.

After the Australian Open, Timi and Yaroslava Svedova (Kazakhstan) agreed to the joint appearances at Indian Wells and Miami. Now, they decided to continue the common start till Wimbledon, the third Grand Slam tournament of the 2016 season.

Shvedova, the two time Grand Slam Champion from 2010, is ranked 3rd. The 28-year old player is starting for Kazakhstan since 2008. For most of the last season her partner was Casey Dellacqua. The Australian player injured in the last period of the season and she returned with new partners. Last year they played in two Grand Slam finals, at the Roland Garros and at the US Open.

This year, Shvedova played with Raluca Olaru (Romania), Samantha Stosur (Australia) and Bethanie Mattek-Sands (USA). She was a semifinalist in Sydney with Olaru, and this week with Timi at Indian Wells.
